The Sea, the Moon and the Earth

The sea is a woman

Brave and wild

Spellbound by the moon,

she rises and falls in a conjugal dance

The moon in return,

does not ask woman to change her nature

but revels in her vigor

The sea welds herself to the earth

Water and air

birthing the seam of the horizon

They fashion the bed of the rising sun

The earth with love

holds her waters in calm and in storm

and does not falter
