It's already light at 6:30 AM. The last two morning dog walks, I have been able to smell the coming of spring. What a relief. It's mad. It happens every year without fail; I am surprised by it's return.
I can imagine what it felt like, way back when, for the peoples of this earth, who searched Mother Earth for signs and understanding.
I stand in the middle of the grid road with the same awe and reverence of her power and mercy. The Mother's pungent, earthy blankets rising up to meet me at every step, as the unbearable beauty of the morning light bathes us together.
It's church. Communion. Amen.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
